Jimmy: Mom, why are there days and nights?
吉米：妈妈，为什么会有白天和黑夜？
Mom: Because the earth is spinning.
妈妈：因为地球在自转。
Jimmy: Just like a top?
吉米：像陀螺那样转吗？
Mom: Yes.
妈妈：是的。
Jimmy: So why do you have winter and summer?
吉米：那为什么会有冬天和夏天？
Mom: Because the earth moves around the sun. But when it comes to the sun, it is summer, and when the earth is far away from the sun, it becomes winter.
妈妈：因为地球绕着太阳转。但它靠近太阳，就有了夏天，当地球远离太阳，就变成了冬天。
Jimmy: When does the earth stop turning?
吉米：那地球什么时候就不转了呢？
Mother: Only a scientist can answer your question.
妈妈：只有科学家才能回答你的问题。
