【少儿英语口语】杰克警官要退休

杰克警官要退休了，他和布克用英语口语聊了起来，追溯了自己以前的办案，布克先生感慨颇多：

Booker: What's the matter? Sergeant Jack.

布克：有什么事吗？杰克警官。 Jack: You know, man, I'm a cop. 杰克：知道吗，布克，我是一个警察。 Booker: Yes, a policeman who likes coffee. 布克：是的，一个喜欢喝咖啡的警察。 Jack: You know, man, I've been a cop for twenty years. 杰克：知道吗，布克，我当警察当了二十年。 Booker: Good. 布克：不错。 Jack: Since I was eighteen years old, I have been a police officer for over twenty years. But I still can't make it easily.  杰克：从我十八岁开始当警察，到现在已经二十年了。但我还是不能很轻松的处理事情。 Booker: You did a great job. 布克：你做的已经很棒了。 Jack: So I decided to retire. 杰克：所以我决定退休。 Booker: Oh, you just broke a corruption case. 布克：哦，你刚破了一个贪污案。 Jack: That's my last case. My detection rate is one hundred percent. 杰克：那是我最后破的一个案件，我的破案率是百分之百。 Booker: That's true. 布克：这是真的。 Jack: But I'm old and slowly. 杰克：可是我老了，动作迟缓了。 Booker: That's too bad. 布克：太可惜了。 Jack: I want to give my seat to the young people. 杰克：我要把位置让给那些年轻人。 Booker: You're the best cop I've ever seen.

布克：你是我见过最优秀的警察。
